Milan In Pole For Porto’s Andre Silva
The Portuguese star Silva is the most concrete target for Milan at the moment.
Milan are set to move for Porto striker Andre Silva, who has been on the radar for a while now. The Rossoneri have held talks with Torino this week over a deal for Andrea Belotti, tabling in a €45 million bid. However, they ended up frustrated over the striker’s asking price, which is €70 million plus a player.
It seems likely that Milan will acquire two strikers, including one megastar and what seems to be one of Belotti or Silva.
As a result of the high price-tag, Corriere della Sera says the Milanese side are switching their attentions to the 21-year-old goal-machine Andre Silva. Milan have been in continuous contacts the past days with the Portugal international’s agent, Jorge Mendes.
After scoring against Latvia, Silva has acclaimed 7 goals in his last 7 games for the Portugal senior side, which is a clear sign of the killer form he currently is in.

The Serie A giants will also ask Mendes over an update about Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez’s situation, as it is more than certain that the Colombian international is set for a Bernabeu exit this summer. In case Lazio’s Keita Balde keeps insisting on joining Juventus, Milan will strongly attempt to sign James, according to Sky Italia.
On Friday, James’ stepfather, Juan Carlos Restrepo, talked to the press advising his son against playing another season at Real Madrid.
“I want to see my son play football. If it were up to me, I would tell him to look for a team where he can play, where they value him more. I don’t think that James has been short on support at Real, I think he has the fans’ affection, but a talent like his needs to be on the football pitch”, he said.
