Milan To Discuss James Rodriguez Transfer
It seems that Milan are not done with the name Rodriguez, as it is James Rodriguez’s turn.
Reports in Italy suggest that Milan are knocking on Real Madrid’s door for another target, this time – James. Super-agent Jorge Mendes has flown to Italy today to talk with Milan about his client James Rodriguez, according to La Repubblica.
Last Saturday, Marco Fassone and Massimo Mirabelli flew to Cardiff to attend the Champions League final and also talk with Mendes over signing some of his players. It is believed that Milan want to get on good terms with the Portuguese after opting for no further relation with Mino Raiola, who is making Donnarumma’s contract renewal difficult.
James has struggled for regular game time under Zinedine Zidane, starting just nine matches in the Spanish top flight this season. As a result, he has been widely linked with a move away from the Bernabeu the past months.
It has been reported that Porto striker Andre Silva, another client of Mendes’, has been mentioned in the meeting. The Serie A side are interested in the player but he is not a primary target for the attack.
In order to be able to acquire the Colombian international, Milan will have to fight their way through the stiff competition, as he has already been linked with a move to Manchester United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and rivals Inter this summer.
