Kolasinac To Be Milan’s First Signing This Summer (UPDATED)
According to Sky, Milan have officially missed out on Sead Kolasinac, as he has now signed for English side Arsenal and will join them in the summer as a free agent.
The 23-year-old had previously agreed to join Milan and had been given €1 million in advance, but eventually, he opted to join Arsenal as he was offered a bigger salary. It has been revealed that Kolasinac was also in advanced talks with Everton before signing for Arsenal in the end.
Schalke’s left back Sead Kolasinac is set to join Milan on a free transfer this summer.
According to Mediaset, his entourage has agreed a 4-year deal worth €2 million+bonuses per year with new Milan CEO Marco Fassone and Sporting Director Massimo Mirabelli. The agreement is expected to be signed after the sale of the club on 14 April. Schalke’s Sporting Director has already opened up the possibility of letting Kolasinac go.
“We are looking forward ahead of the market in order to be prepared in case Kolasinac decides to not renew”, he said. If the sale concludes, the Bosnian international will practically become the first new signing in the summer transfer market for the Rossoneri.
