Andrea Conti To Milan Is Done Deal
Milan finally have a deal for Andrea Conti.
Reports in Italy claim Atalanta’s defender Andrea Conti is finally set to join Milan. The Italy U21 international had already agreed terms with the Rossoneri, but there was no agreement between the two clubs.
According to Sky Italia, Milan have now agreed a €24 million deal for Conti with youngster Matteo Pessina going the other way. He will arrive in Milan on Thursday and undergo medical tests on Friday before signing the contract.
The player’s agent even threatened strike action if a deal did not go through, but fortunately there will be no need for that now. “Milan is a dream and I hope to wear the Rossoneri jersey in this coming season,” Conti told TMW Radio recently.
The 23-year-old, who will sign a 5-year contract worth €2 million per season, will team up with the rest of the squad on 11 July.
