Milan Enquire About Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo
Cristiano is again being linked to Milan.
Milan have surprisingly contacted Real Madrid via agent Jorge Mendes about the possibility of signing Portuguese ace Cristiano Ronaldo, reports in Italy suggest.
The Serie A side had a meeting with Mendes earlier this week to discuss some of his clients and potential Milan targets as a final bomb of this summer’s transfer window. Names such as Bayern’s Renato Sanches, Chelsea’s AWOL striker Diego Costa and Monaco’s recently tied-up Falcao have emerged.
However, it is now that Sky Italia reveal Milan asked the super agent about Ronaldo’s availability on the market, out of curiosity, knowing that there have recently been rumors about him wanting to leave Spain and the Madrid giant. Moreover, the Portuguese international, who currently earns €30 million a year, would cost no less than €200 million – a figure impossible for any Italian club unfortunately.
Earlier this summer, allegations of tax fraud were brought against Ronaldo in Spain, prompting those close to the player to reveal in the media that he had decided to quit Real Madrid. Nonetheless, he later appeared to row back on those comments, with president Florentino Perez insisting in an interview that the 32-year-old would not be sold.
