Milan Cool Off Interest In Lazio’s Lucas Biglia
Lucas Biglia may not move after all.
Sky Italia suggests that Milan have pulled the plug regarding a possible deal for Lazio’s midfielder Lucas Biglia, as neither team can agree on a fee. While the Argentine himself has agreed personal terms with Milan, Lazio are holding out for at least €20 million cash with no player-exchanges.
The Rossoneri are reportedly unwilling to go over €15 million to secure his services, with that bid the highest they will go for the player. As a result of the unsuccessful talks, they have now pulled out of the race to acquire Biglia.
The 31-year-old team captain could now remain in Rome for his final year of the contract and then leave for free next summer, according to Il Messaggero.
Since the Lucas Biglia deal seems off, the Milanese side have turned to Paris Saint-Germain’s Grzegorz Krychowiak and could soon talk with the Paris club about a possible loan deal with an option to buy the Polish international.
