Mateo Musacchio Passes Milan Medical, Move To Be Imminent
This week, Argentine defender Mateo Musacchio has undergone medical tests at Milan, as a video on the Serie A club’s website showed on Monday. The San Siro outfit posted a video of Musacchio wearing the club’s training kit on their official Twitter account too.
He was even given a tour a the Casa Milan by Filippo Galli, where he reportedly signed the contract worth €2.5 million a year.
However, despite him passing the medical revision, the €18 million transfer from Villarreal has been postponed for a few days. Some bureaucratic issues are reportedly the reason for the delay of the official announcement, as Milan TV suggested that the deal will be completed once the Serie A season comes to an end.

“Musacchio is in Milan, and if he is there, it is because there has been an agreement between the three parties. It is a good deal for all parties, and therefore, it is close to being completed”, Villarreal president Fernando Roig told the press.
The 26-year-old River Plate youth product, who turns 27 in August, joined The Yellow Submarine in 2009 and since then, he has become one of the most consistent defenders in La Liga. He made 23 league appearances this season with the Spanish club, who clinched a Europa League slot after ending the season fifth in the table.
WELCOME AND GOOD LUCK, MATEO!
