Franck Kessie To Milan Is A Done Deal
Milan have secured the services of Atalanta’s midfielder Franck Kessie, which will be their second signing for the new season alongside Mateo Musacchio from Villareal.
According to Sky Italia‘s Gianluca Di Marzio, Kessie has chosen Milan over Roma and the two clubs have reached an agreement for €28 million plus bonuses. He is set to sign a 5-year contract worth €2.5 million per season. Roma, who offered to pay him €2 million a year wages, was still in the race for the Ivorian youngster, but the final decision was up to him only.
Kessie was reportedly determined to leave Atalanta and make a step up in quality after an excellent breakout year. The 20-year-old has come into his own this campaign and has played 28 Serie A games, scoring six goals and providing four assists.
