Villareal & Milan Agree Mateo Musacchio Deal
Milan are seriously looking to strengthen their defence for next season and have again turned to long-time target Mateo Musacchio. Villareal’s defender has been linked with Milan since last summer, but a move failed to concretize.
A few days ago, Musacchio told Spanish’ AS that he he knows nothing of any Milan interest and has so far received only one offer, a long-term extension for Villarreal. However, Sky Sport now claims the Rossoneri finally have an agreement in principle with the Spanish side to sign the Argentine for €15 million, plus bonuses. This way, Milan are certain to scare off the English competition consisting of Chelsea, Everton and Tottenham.
The 26-year-old is often forced off the pitch with injuries, but in spite of that, he is highly-rated in Spain and is known for his composure on the ball, as well the quality of his passing.
Meanwhile, Schalke’s out-of-contract defender Sead Kolasinac is surprisingly still a target, as the saga seems to be far from over. Now, Kolasinac’s father has revealed to Bosnian television channel N1 Sarajevo that his son has not signed for Arsenal yet and that a final decision will be made next week. He is yet to choose between the Gunners and the Rossoneri.
